What are we focusing on this upcoming week?
- Writing: Students will continue working on an "End of the Year" writing project. Students will have the choice of opinion, narrative, or informational writing to show us their best writing skills one last time this year!
- Reading: **iReady Diagnostic: Wednesday, May 18- Thursday, May 19**
- Students will continue working on their "End of the Year" reading project. Students chose a fiction book to read and take notes on. As students read, they are focused on reading elements such as: characters & their traits, settings & why they're important, creating a story arc, listing possible themes, and writing chapter summaries.
- Math: **iReady Diagnostic: Monday, May 16- Tuesday, May 17**
- Students will continue working on an "End of the Year" math project. Students will use their area and perimeter knowledge to design a zoo!
- 4.2 (Ms. Smith): Plan, create, & play math review games.

- Social Studies: Students will learn about Reconstruction in the United States after the Civil War.
