We hope you are ready to dive into the final weeks of the year before our Winter Break begins! Below you will find this week's 'need to know' information for fourth grade. Parents, if you ever have any questions, comments, or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to your child's teacher. We hope you have a wonderful week!
This Week's Lesson Plans:
- Remote Learning Days on 11/30 & 12/1: At last night’s school board meeting (Nov. 19), it was decided that the Monday and Tuesday immediately following Thanksgiving break (Nov. 30 and Dec. 1) will be remote learning days for students and staff. This means ALL students will be learning from home these two days, and teachers will be teaching live lessons, just as they would at school. If your child's teacher needs to schedule any asynchronous lessons for a small portion of the day, they will let you know. Both days will be almost, if not 100% live, and we will follow our usual school schedule, with morning meeting starting at 7:40.
- Science Olympiad: Science Olympiad has gone virtual! Join us for a noncompetitive, FUN way to learn new things and earn badges. This year ESO (Elementary Science Olympiad) will be for grades 2-5. Let Mrs. Davis know if you want to join the ESO TEAM! [email protected]
- Curbside Library Pickup for Virtual Students: Virtual students and their parents can use the link provided (NPE Media Center Curbside) to check out library books for curbside pickup. Additional information is provide on the Curbside Pickup page, too. :) http://npemedia.weebly.com/curbside.html
