We hope you had a great weekend! We are ready for another busy and exciting week in 4th grade! Please see below for this weeks reminders, announcements, and homework schedule :)
Some General Reminders and Announcements:
Pops, Pizza and Hoops! Our annual Pops, Pizza and Hoops event will be on Friday, November 3rd - 6:00 - 8:00 in the New Prospect Cafeteria & Gymnasium. This is an amazing WatchDog Dads launch event!
All are welcome to this free event! Please RSVP on the PTA website.
In-School Field Trip! This Thursday and Friday [11/2 and 11/3] New Prospect Elementary School will be participating in the Builder Bunch Towers 101 Lego-based In-school Field Trip!
Kindergarten through 5th grades will have a fun, interactive, hands-on experience in a Tower Build-off! (K-2 may remember the bridge building program from last year!) We are excited to bring this to the entire school this year!
Students will learn the history of towers, the science behind building tall towers, and how they are built to withstand the elements. The tallest tower that lasts the longest on the earthquake machine will be crowned the winner!
School Play Auditions: Auditions for the school play, "Dreamweaver", will be held on Tuesday, Nov 14th (3:30-6:30) and Wednesday, Nov. 15th (2:30-5:30). Please sign your child up for a 4 minute audition time slot on one of these two days. The sign up schedule will be available on the PTA website under the "School Play" tab starting November 1st and will close at 3:00 pm on Nov. 8th. Please review the documents under the School Play tab on the PTA website for more detailed information, including how to prepare for the audition.
Graded Papers: Just a friendly reminder to please remember to sign and send back graded classwork, quizzes, writing pieces and tests asap. We are still missing graded assignments from some students. Thank you! :)
