The prompt for this essay is: Your class is creating a book about Colonial times to be published for parents. For your contribution, you will write a historical fiction narrative about a colonist in the Jamestown Settlement who has just survived the winter of 1609-1610, known as the Starving Time. Students will use their story maps as planning for their narrative. This essay will be due on Thursday, February 8th for a minor grade.
