We hope you had a great 3 day weekend! Below are our reminders, announcements, and homework schedule for the week. As always, please reach out to your child's teacher if you have any questions!
Some General Reminders and Announcements:
Field Trip to Sparkles of Kennesaw on Friday, January 31! Fourth grade students came home with permission slips for their first field trip a couple of weeks ago. If you haven't already, please send in the permission slip with payment ($25) by THIS Friday, January 24. Thank you to those of you who have sent in the form with payment so far.
Save the Date! Hands on New Prospect Day is coming up on February 22nd! Did you know that Fulton County only cuts the grass outside the school? All landscaping and any upkeep of our grounds has to be done by the school without any personnel to do help us. With this in mind, we are having a family event called Hands on New Prospect where we will spruce the place up a little bit and have some fun, too!
Mark Your Calendar:
- Saturday February 22nd 9:00am-2:00pm (Rain Date: February 29th)
This event is sponsored by the NPE PTA and the New Prospect Environmental Committee.
School Play: Don't forget that the school play, The School Zone, is this Friday and Saturday! Visit the PTA website for details and tickets!
Important Upcoming Dates:
Please note that test dates are always considered tentative. If in the future the team decides that a test date needs to be changed (usually in the form of being pushed back if we feel that the students are not ready), we will communicate the change to you all. Until then, these dates represent our assessment plan.
- 4.2 Math Test on 1/29 (Next Wednesday!)
