Reading - 🏀March Madness (Test Prep/Author Study Unit)
- This week we will be continuing with March Madness in reader's workshop. This is a time where teachers will be 'coaching' students, and students will be participating in 'drills' to practice various 4th grade reading skills in preparation for the 'big game' (Milestones). We do not stress and/or reference Milestones often in class, but we DO remind students that this is a time where we practice and sharpen our skills to be the best fourth grade scholars we can be! We are using our ELA interims we have taken throughout the year to guide us on what skills/standards students need additional practice with.
Writing - 🏀March Madness (Test Prep/Author Study Unit)
- This week we will be focusing on presenting our March Madness presentations, and participating in bracket challenges and voting!
