We made it through our first week! We had such a wonderful time getting to know your sweet babies and we are so excited about the new year! We have been working hard learning all about 4th grade in general, class and school rules, and classroom procedures. These kids are already rocking it, and we are so proud! What a wonderful group!
Below are some announcements and updates for this week :)
Some General Reminders and Announcements:
Green Folder/Signed Papers: If you have any remaining signed papers that were in the green folders from Sneak Peek please send them in. We want to make sure we are all up to date with our student information! :) Also, please make sure to check your kiddos green folder regularly! Many important papers will be making their way home these next few of weeks :) We typically send home important papers/flyers on Thursday.
Agendas: Students are to show you their agendas on Monday night. On Monday morning during homeroom we write in our homework for the whole week, along with any upcoming important dates. You only need to sign for Monday to indicate that you looked at the homework for the week. We will check for your signatures on Tuesday morning during homeroom. Homework will officially start this week (8/15).
Class Dojo: Thank you to everyone that has signed up already with Class Dojo! We are working our way towards 100% participation in all classes which is AWESOME! If you haven't signed up yet, it's not too late! If you think you lost your log in info, please email your child's homeroom teacher and we can send you a registration email instead :) This is a great tool for you to use to see how your child is doing each day, as well as an awesome tool to use to communicate with your child's teacher. We can send whole class 'broadcasts' as well as individual messages - it's awesome and super duper convenient!
