NO SCHOOL FOR STUDENTS TOMORROW!! Due to some schools around the county being used as polling places, all Fulton County Schools are closed for students tomorrow. However, teachers will be at school busily preparing for the upcoming units and topics that will be covered these next few weeks! Also, Progress Skills Checklists (PSC's) were sent home last week inside the report card envelopes. Please be sure to take a look at those and send back the signed envelope to school with your child. We reuse those each time we send home a report card or a new PSC. Thank you!

Fourth Grade Field Trip to Sparkles of Kennesaw!
Permission slips for our first field trip were sent home over a week ago. Deadline to turn in forms and money is Friday, November 16. If you have not sent back the form, don't worry, you still have time, but please make it a priority to return the form with payment. This was an exciting field trip last year, so we hope everyone will be able to attend!

Progress Skills Checklists (PSC's): This document will be coming home with your child this week in the report card envelope. Please keep the document at home, then sign and send back the envelope with your child.
Buzz! Buzz! The Spelling Bee is coming to town! Mark your calendars. All Fourth Grade students will participate in a classroom spelling bee on Tuesday, November 26. This is two days after we return from Thanksgiving break. Spelling lists will be sent home with students in this Thursday's blue NPE folder. All students will be asked to participate, it's a good way to practice speaking and presentation skills. However, only one student will move on to represent our class in the school Spelling Bee, which will be held on December 5 from 8-9am. The winner from the school-wide Spelling Bee will move on to the county bee, which will be held in January.
STEM Lab Donations: The STEM lab is in need of water bottles, 2L soda bottles, toilet paper and paper towel rolls, and boxes (cereal, shoe etc.) If you can donate these items, Mrs. Davis would greatly appreciate it! She will have a donation box outside of her room. Thank you in advance!
