We hope you had a great weekend (and got to enjoy the fall weather!) and are ready for another wonderful (short) week of learning in 4th grade! Please see below for this week's reminders, announcements, and homework schedule :)
Some General Reminders and Announcements:
From Ms. Searcy, TAG Teacher: All students at New Prospect ES will have the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to participate in a 20-minute video conference with astronauts aboard the International Space Station on October 23rd. Twenty of our students will be selected to ask their questions directly to the crew on the International Space Station. We want every student at NPES to consider submitting a question. A good question is one that cannot be "Googled".
We have created a special website for students to learn about the ISS and crew, as well as to submit their questions. https://talktotheiss.weebly.com The deadline for students to submit questions will be October 1, 2017.
Picture Day Retakes: Retake day Tuesday, October 3rd. This is for any student who missed taking their yearbook picture!
No School 10/5, 10/6, and 10/9: Please remember that there is no school this Thursday and Friday. Thursday is one of our RFF days where teachers will be working on professional development, and Friday is a teacher workday. Students and teachers are off on Monday for Columbus Day.
