This week in writing students are working hard to wrap up their realistic fiction narratives, as well as typing them up on their Chromebooks! Students have been working so hard on these pieces and they SO excited to now be in the publishing stage of the process. On Wednesday we will hold our first Writing Celebration to celebrate all of our hard work! The kids are so excited to share their stories with their peers - it's going to be a fun day!
On Friday, we will have our 'post on-demand' for our first unit, which requires the students to write a story within writer's workshop that day, and this serves as a cumulative activity to see where students are with the skills we taught them during this first writing unit. The post on-demand will serve as a bend III quiz grade.
