Writing: This week, we are completing our opinion pre-assessments for our upcoming opinion unit. Students are also graphing their post-assessments on our personal narrative unit in their data binders in order to see all of the growth we have made throughout the unit! We are also teaching mini lessons on craft and elaboration this week as these are two skills where we saw a specific need for whole group remediation from our past unit.
Language Arts: This week, we are continuing to review all of our language skills and ensuring that we have notes completed in our interactive notebooks on these standards. Students will be working on activities related to these standards and will incorporate them into their writing pieces as we finish up narratives.
