Writing: This week, we are finishing up their informational pieces on an American Revolution topic. This has been a great way to link our social studies content into writing so students have reinforcement of these concepts. Students have been wrapping up their pieces, and have begun to work on new informational pieces on a topic of their choice if they are ready. We are looking forward to a Writing Celebration for these pieces next week!
Language Arts: This week, we are reviewing relative pronouns and relative adverbs. Relative pronouns are words such as who, whose, whom, which, and that. Relative adverbs include words such as where, when, and why. Students also focus on other grammar skills when looking over these exemplar sentences in order to reinforce our language arts standards from week to week.
Standards for this Week:
ELACC4RL3: Describe in depth a character, setting, or event in a story or drama, drawing on specific details in the text.
ELACC4W2: Write informative/explanatory texts to examine a topic and convey ideas and information clearly.
ELACC4L1e: Form and use prepositional phrases.
Homework for this Week:

Have a wonderful week!
