We hope you all had a great weekend! Hopefully the kiddos told you about their Friday afternoon last week. The kiddos had been working SO hard we wanted to reward them with a little treat, but we couldn't pass up the opportunity to play a little trick on them. We TOTALLY had them fooled, and their reactions were PRICELESS!
Some General Reminders and Announcements:

A Note from Student Council: Have any empty or dry markers you don’t need? Instead of throwing them away, donate them back to Crayola for them to be to re-purposed. It’s called Crayola ColorCycle – an amazing program devised to re-purpose used markers rather than sending them to landfills! All around New Prospect Elementary, students and teachers will be collecting used markers that are ready to be discarded. There will be an empty bin located by the lost and found for all your discarded markers. Highlighters and dry erase markers can also be included! Remember, don’t throw out that used marker--ColorCycle it!
Spring Showcase Save the Date: Spring Showcase will be on Tuesday, May 14th from 5-7:30. Students will be showing off their awesome Rube Goldberg creations in class, and there will also be other fun events (like the Art Show!) occurring around school, too!
