We hope you had a fantastic weekend! It's nice to see that the first day of spring also brought along some warmer weather :) Similarly to last week, we have a LOT going on in 4th grade as we prepare for Milestones in April (our testing window opens the Thursday after we return from Spring Break). Continue reading for grade level updates, and please don't forget to check out our content blogs to specifically what is going on this week in each content area :)

Book Fair: It's time to start planning for the Scholastic Book Fair May 5-17. The theme is the "Happy Camper Book Fair: S'more fun with books!" We are looking for volunteers to help with decorating, setting-up, student preview, student buying, and post-fair packing up. Please contact Sandy Treece, [email protected] for more information about volunteering.
More about the Book Fair....
We will focus on student Summer Reading. For each grade, we'll have teacher-selected picks based on student reading levels for on-level, advanced, and accelerated books. Avoid the summer reading slide by keeping your children reading during the summer! Profits from the book fair support the school through books, technology, online databases, Makerspace, and other student materials. Thank you for supporting our school!
